Massage therapist Michelle Kluck has a way with babies and demonstrates her methods in a well-explained, easy-to-watch video that will have the foggiest of new parents massaging their infant like a pro. Dividing the lessons up into segments on legs and feet, stomach, chest, face, back, and stretching, Kluck and a mother-baby pair perform techniques such as Indian and Swedish milking, "sun and moon," and the waterwheel. She includes pointers on how to begin (ask your baby for permission), what type of oils to use, and reflexology points. Her claims for the benefit of infant massage range from the expected, like easing colic and teething pain, to the more extraordinary, such as promotion of weight gain and brain stimulation.
