HOW TO USE A RUBBER KNIFE
For use against any frontal attack where the weapon is showing forward. Attack comes from outside of center. Possible against attacks from inside to out.
Move to outside of attack, side step, twist body or move 45o towards. This should encourage attacker to commit fully to attack and minimize your own body target.
Intercept attacking arm, when attacking arm is at full extent, just below elbow, using back/side of arm in twisting motion. Use arm furthest from attacker or both arms, one either side of elbow. This forces weapon arm towards center. Muscles tend to be weaker moving from center outwards. Also protects against reactionary retaliation.
To assist this further trap weapon arm using hand furthest from attacker. Other hand reaches up to attackers face, ridge of hand under nose. As body pivots round force head back at 45o. Optional: grip throat, similar action.
As own body twists place nearest leg/foot/knee behind attackers leg/foot/knee and edge own forward. Take attacker to ground. Maintain control of weapon arm at all times.
