This Kubaton is made out of wood. It has a flat point on both end. On one end their is a silver hook screwed in the kubotan.

This karate weapon can be used for eye gouging, jabbing the throat, and as a lever to create pain to certain pressure points of the body.

The kubaton is a miniature baton developed by the Japanese self-defense master Takayuki Kubota for use as a restraint device. Although he created it specifically for the women of the Los Angeles police department, the kubotan proved so practical in law enforcement work that it has become one of the most commonly carried martial arts weapons in the United States. The kubaton combines the functionality of the yawara (a short pocket stick invented in mediaeval Japan) with the "hands-on" convenience of additionally being a key-chain. It is also light, inexpensive, readily available from a variety of retailers, fairly easy to use, and legal in most places.
