Iron Palms Background

Quite a few martial arts systems have Iron Palm Training as part of the art but, none as in-depth as 18 Daoist Palms. With Iron Palm and Dim Mak being known as 2 of the most secretive of systems, they have become popular with students who are interested in disabling their opponent, without hurting or harming them. The iron palm is done with a coordination of physical hand strikes coupled with the use of the mind. Keep in mind that "the mind" is the most important aspect to this style. The style consists of five traditional hand strikes. They are: The whole cupped hand. the finger tips, the knife edge, the bottom edge of the palm and the back of the hand.
