The weapons and swords within these pages are largely made in the old part of Toledo Spain, where the tradition of quality sword making has endured during the centuries. Between the 15th and 17th century, sword making and armor construction reached a peak when the Sword cutlers Guild was first established. Swordsmen and swordsmiths from Europe and the East came to Toledo to learn the ancient "secret" of quality sword-making.

Fantasy Sword Materials

Marto and Martespa extends the tradition with the use of modern materials to produce the highest quality swords and armors. The inventory includes some of the Ancient, Medieval and Renaissance era's best known weapons. Each sword is hand finished and polished to a mirror shine. The blades are carefully crafted from the finest 420 and 440 stainless steel. Once etched and polished, the blade is then hand fitted onto the tang. Due to their exceptional workmanship, both MARTO and MARTESPA weapons have become known for their exceptional swords.
