Police Kung Fu: The Personal Combat Handbook of the Taiwan National Police by Man Kam Lo, Nicholas Veitch (translator), Bradley Temple (translator)
A comprehensive approach for the use of traditional kung fu by law enforcement, Police Kung Fu maximizes personal safety while minimizing the necessary use of force. Used extensively by police in Taiwan, kung fu has enabled officers to safely apprehend suspects without ever having to draw a weapon.
Lavishly illustrated with photographs of police officers demonstrating each technique, this detailed instruction book teaches responses to unarmed assailants as well as attacks involving guns, knives, assorted clubs and other weapons.
